The beauty of fabric shines brightest when it is freed from constraints. Corduroy, with its unique texture, holds light differently depending on the direction of its pile, casting subtle shadows that seem to dance across the garment. Most tailors follow the grain to create a polished, uniform surface, but at times, I choose the opposite path, revealing an irregular beauty where light and darkness intertwine. For me, tailoring is not merely about following lines—it is closer to composing art in harmony with the soul of the fabric.
